Our vibrant, interactive assemblies combine music, movement and meaningful messages to create joyful learning experiences that children can see, hear and physically engage with.Through powerful visuals, live singing, movement, repetition, storytelling and positive affirmations, each assembly explores important themes in a way that feels exciting, memorable and accessible.Children don’t just sit and watch. They participate.At the heart of More Than Singing is a simple belief: music has the power to teach, inspire and bring a whole school community together.

More Than Drumming brings the energy and excitement of drumming into the school environment through vibrant, interactive musical experiences.Led by professional drummer and musical director Chris Morris, sessions combine rhythm, movement and drumming to develop listening, memory, coordination, concentration and teamwork, while exploring how rhythm, sound and pattern work together.Every child can take part, find their rhythm and contribute to something bigger than themselves.

Music Tuition

Alongside our school programmes and assemblies, we also offer personalised music tuition and coaching, working with each individual to develop their playing, build confidence and find their own approach to music.Drum Coaching with ChrisCurrently availableChris works one-to-one with developing drummers, helping them strengthen their technique and musicianship while finding their own sound and approach to playing.Vocal Coaching with SharleneComing January 2027Sharlene works with singers to help them find their voice, build confidence and express themselves musically, with coaching shaped around the individual.

Who We Are

Morris Music Academy was founded by professional musicians Chris and Sharlene-Monique Morris.Between them, they bring decades of experience across performance, music education, musical direction, choirs and creative development, working with people and organisations in the UK and internationally.But MMA grew from something more personal than a list of credentials.We’ve experienced first-hand what music can do for people.We’ve seen what happens when someone is given an opportunity, encouraged to try something they didn’t think they could do, or connected with people and experiences that broaden what they believe is possible.MMA is our way of creating more of those opportunities for others.
